Montblanc Museum Awards

The Montblanc Museum Awards, initiated by Museumtickets.nl and Montblanc, is the first Dutch museum prize. Goal of the initiative is to promote the Dutch museum world and to pay homage to the museum professionals. Next to this it is intended to raise awareness with the Dutch public of the size and richness of the art treasures in Dutch museums and to stimulate local and regional visits to museums. The audience prize offers participants the possibility to speak out and express their appreciation for certain museums.

The very first handing out of these dignified prizes took place during the Montblanc Museum Gala Dinner on 11 November 2010 in the Eden Amsterdam American Hotel.
